Privacy Policy
This policy explains what the mobile game Mining Fever (“the Game”, Android package com.miningfever.game, also for iOS) collects, why it is collected, who receives it and what choices you have. The Game is published by TEF SYSTEMS LTD (“we”, “us”). Questions and requests: support@tefs.com.
1. In short
- The Game has no accounts, no sign-in, no cloud save and no servers of our own. Your progress and your miner name stay on your device.
- Money in the Game ($ and BTC) is virtual game currency. It has no real-world value and cannot be bought with, or turned into, real money or real Bitcoin. There are no in-app purchases, and we never ask for card or bank details.
- To measure how the Game is used, to tell which advertising brought you, to change game settings remotely and to show ads, the Game includes third-party services (section 4). They receive random installation identifiers, the advertising ID of your device, and technical data about your device and about what you do in the Game.
- The Game does not ask for your name, e-mail, phone number or precise location, and does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files.
- Ads are served by AppLovin MAX and its partner networks. Depending on where you are, you may be asked for consent, and on iOS the system will ask whether the Game may track you. You can reset or switch off personalised ads in your device settings (section 5).
- The Game is not intended for children (section 7).
2. Who is responsible
TEF SYSTEMS LTD decides which services are built into the Game and for what purpose; the services in sections 4.1 to 4.3 and 4.5 work for us under their terms. Advertising partners (section 4.4) also process some data for their own purposes under their own privacy policies; links are given below. To contact us about privacy, write to support@tefs.com.
3. What stays on your device
- Game progress (your farm, balances, level, achievements, settings, which tutorial steps and hints you have seen), your miner name, and a few technical records (a cached Bitcoin price, the notification schedule, the last game settings received from our configuration service). They are kept in the Game’s private storage on your phone. We do not receive them.
- Miner name. It is shown only to you. The leaderboard in the Game is a simulation: the other “miners” are generated by the Game, they are not real people, and your miner name is not shared with anyone and not sent to us or to any service. When you change the name, analytics learns only that a name was changed, not the name itself.
- Backups. Your phone may include the Game’s data in its own backup to your Google or Apple account, depending on your device settings. We do not control or access those backups.
- Clearing the Game’s data in the system settings or uninstalling the Game removes this data. It cannot be restored by us.
4. What the Game and its services collect
Each service below is built into the Game and works automatically while you play. None of them receives your name, e-mail address, phone number or an account (the Game has none). All money amounts in the data below are virtual. The Game does not use location services; some services may determine your approximate location (country, sometimes city) from your IP address.
4.1 Game analytics: AppMetrica (Yandex)
- What for
- To understand how the Game is used and balanced, to find and fix errors and crashes, and to measure advertising income.
- What data
- Events about what you do in the Game: tutorial steps passed, level reached, miners and upgrades bought (with their in-game prices), locations and modules bought, mini-games played and their results, rewards claimed, whether a rewarded video was watched, skipped or unavailable, notifications opened, session numbers and days since installation.
- Profile attributes: your level and the experiment groups you were given (for example, the variant of the tutorial and of the miners’ look).
- For every ad shown to you: the revenue amount in US dollars, the ad network, ad unit and the place in the Game where it was shown. It describes the ad, not you.
- Error and crash reports (technical details and stack traces).
- Collected automatically by the service: random device and installation identifiers (including the AppMetrica device ID), the advertising ID of your device where available, the IP address, device model and manufacturer, operating system and Game versions, screen size and language.

- Yandex Privacy Policy · AppMetrica data protection
4.2 Attribution and ad measurement: Adjust (Adjust GmbH)
- What for
- To find out which advertising campaigns bring players to the Game and how well they perform, and to measure ad revenue.
- What data
- Identifiers: the advertising ID of your device (Google Advertising ID on Android; on iOS the IDFA, only if you allow tracking, and the vendor identifier), the app-set ID, a random identifier of the installation created by the service. If there is no advertising ID, the service may fall back to other identifiers of the platform.
- Device and app information: Game version, device model and manufacturer, operating system version, screen size, language, country and mobile carrier of the device, type of connection, time of the first launch and of each session. On Android also the campaign information that Google Play passes to the Game on installation (install referrer).
- The IP address (the country is determined from it).
- The advertising revenue of the ads shown (amount, ad network, ad unit, place), and anonymous in-game milestones, for example that the tutorial is complete, a level or a miner tier is reached, a number of rewarded videos is watched, or that you returned on day 1 or day 7.
- Sharing
- Adjust may pass this data to the advertising networks whose campaigns brought you to the Game, so that they can measure and improve them, if we switch such sharing on in our Adjust account.

4.3 Remote settings and A/B tests: Firebase Remote Config and Google Analytics for Firebase (Google)
- What for
- Remote Config delivers game settings (prices, timings, variants) without an app update. Google Analytics for Firebase is used only to run A/B tests of the Game (for example, two looks of the miners): Firebase hands out the variants through it. We do not use it to analyse your behaviour in the Game.
- What data
- A random identifier of the installation (the Firebase installation ID and the app instance ID). Clearing the Game’s data or reinstalling it creates a new one.
- Collected automatically: first opening, sessions, screens viewed, time in the Game, Game version, installation source, device model, operating system version, language, time zone, an approximate location (country, city) that Google determines from the IP address, and which A/B variant you were given.
- Remote Config additionally reads the country, language, time zone, operating system version and the app identifiers to choose the settings for you.
- What we do not send
- The Game sends no events, no user ID, no miner name and nothing else about your play to Google Analytics. Advertising features of Google Analytics are switched off: it does not read your advertising ID, and ad personalisation, advertising data storage and the sharing of user data for advertising are disabled; it is not linked to Google Ads. Google processes this data on our behalf under the Google Analytics terms. Analytics event data is kept for 2 months.

4.4 Ads: AppLovin MAX and its partner networks
- What for
- The Game is free and is funded by ads: rewarded videos that you choose to watch for a bonus, ads between screens, an ad when the Game opens, and banners. AppLovin MAX decides which advertising network shows an ad and passes the request to it.
- What data
- The advertising ID of your device, the IP address and an approximate location derived from it.
- Device and app information: model, operating system and its version, language, screen size, Game version, type of connection.
- Information about ads: requests, impressions, clicks, whether a rewarded video was completed, the ad revenue.
- Your consent status, where the consent form was shown (section 5).
- Depending on your choices, the networks may use this data to show personalised (interest-based) ads, to measure and limit how often you see an ad, and to prevent fraud.
- Services and their privacy policies
- Mediation: AppLovin. Networks that may show ads in the Game: Google (AdMob) (how Google uses data from apps that use its services), Meta Audience Network, InMobi, Mintegral, Liftoff (Vungle), Moloco, Pangle (ByteDance), Unity Ads, Yandex Ads, BIGO Ads.
4.5 Bitcoin price: Coinbase and Kraken
- What for
- The Game uses the public market price of Bitcoin in US dollars (current price and recent history) in its calculations and in the forecast mini-game. No real Bitcoin is bought, sold or held.
- What data
- The Game asks the public interfaces of Coinbase (
api.coinbase.com,api.exchange.coinbase.com) and, if they fail, of Kraken (api.kraken.com). While the forecast screen is open and the Game is in the foreground, it also listens to a live price stream (ws-feed.exchange.coinbase.comorws.kraken.com). The requests contain nothing about you: no identifier of the Game, no account. As with any internet connection, these servers see your IP address and the technical headers of the request (the Game names itself “MiningFever/1.0”). - Provider policies

4.6 Notifications
- How
- Reminders about events in your game (for example, a full wallet or a finished Turbo) are scheduled on your phone by the Game itself. There is no push server and no push token; nothing is sent to you from the internet. The Game asks for permission to show notifications during the tutorial (on Android 13 and later, and on iOS) and may ask once more after a refusal. You can switch notifications off at any time in the system settings.
- What data
- Analytics (4.1) records your answer to the permission prompt and when you open the Game from a notification.
4.7 Permissions of the Game
- Android: internet and network state (to load settings, ads and statistics); notifications and “run at startup” (to show and re-schedule reminders after a reboot); the advertising ID permission (read by the advertising and attribution services); and routine permissions the advertising services add (for example wake lock, vibration, Wi-Fi state, install referrer).
- iOS: notifications and, through the system prompt, tracking (section 5).
- The Game does not request location, contacts, calendar, camera, microphone, photos, files, telephone or SMS.
5. Ads, consent and your choices
- Consent form. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland) the Game shows, through AppLovin MAX, a consent form from Google (Google UMP) before ads are requested, and you choose what ad partners may do with your data. The consent flow links to this policy.
- iOS. The system asks whether the Game may track you across apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, the Game and its services do not receive the IDFA.
- Analytics and attribution have no separate consent form. The services in 4.1 to 4.3 are part of how the Game works and are switched on when you play; the consent form covers advertising. If you do not want them, stop playing and uninstall the Game. Resetting your advertising ID (below) also unlinks future data from the earlier identifier.
- Personalised ads. Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Settings → Google → Ads; the path depends on your phone) → delete the advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation. iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → switch off for Mining Fever. You will still see ads, but they will be less relevant, and services will no longer receive a usable advertising ID.
- Rewarded videos are always optional.
- Withdrawing consent. You can withdraw consent you gave in the form at any time with the steps above, or by writing to support@tefs.com. Withdrawal does not affect what was done before it.
6. Why we may use your data (EEA and UK)
If the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies to you, we rely on:
- Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): personalised advertising and the reading of your advertising ID by advertising partners, where the consent form is shown; showing notifications (your answer to the system prompt).
- Our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): measuring and improving the Game, finding errors, A/B tests, attribution of installs, measuring ad revenue and preventing ad fraud, so that we can run and fund a free game. You can object (section 9).
- Providing the Game (Art. 6(1)(b)): remote settings that the Game needs to run, and the Bitcoin price.
- Your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)): when you write to us, your email address and what you send are used to carry out your request and in our legitimate interest to answer players (section 8).
7. Children
The Game is not intended for children. Please do not use it if you are under 13, or under 16 in the European Economic Area, or younger than the age at which the law of your country lets you agree to the processing of your data yourself. The Game does not ask your age and has no age check. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe that a child has used the Game, write to support@tefs.com and we will ask our services to delete what they hold (section 8).
8. Retention and deletion
- On your device: until you clear the Game’s data or uninstall it.
- At our services (section 4): as long as needed for the purposes in this policy and under the retention rules of each provider (see the links in section 4). Google Analytics event data is kept for 2 months.
- How to ask for deletion. Write to support@tefs.com. The Game has no accounts, so we can find data only by what you tell us about your device. On Android that is the advertising ID (Settings → Privacy → Ads). On iOS the system does not show the advertising identifier, so send the model of your iPhone, the version of the Game and the approximate dates of installing and of last playing. On Android, if you deleted or reset the advertising ID (section 5 suggests it), send the same details as on iOS: the model of your phone, the version of the Game and those dates. The email you write from is only the address we answer to: we do not search by it. We will then ask AppMetrica, Adjust and Google to delete the data linked to your device, as far as their services let us find it. Data held by advertising networks (4.4) is deleted by contacting them through their policies.
- When you write to us. We receive your email address and what you send us (for example the phone model, the version of the Game, dates and a description of the problem). We use it to answer you and to carry out your request (section 6). We keep the correspondence for up to 24 months after the last message, then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
- Starting over. Clearing the Game’s data or reinstalling it creates new random identifiers; new data is not linked to the earlier ones by us.
9. Your rights
EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland. You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing (including processing based on our legitimate interests), to receive it in a portable form, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your data protection authority.
California and other US states. You may have the right to know what personal information is collected and disclosed, to have it deleted or corrected, to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” for targeted advertising, and not to be treated worse for using these rights. We do not sell personal information for money. Passing an advertising ID and ad interactions to advertising partners can count as “sharing” or “sale” under some state laws: to opt out, reset or disable your advertising ID (section 5) or write to us. We do not ask for sensitive personal information.
Elsewhere. The law of your country (for example Brazil, Turkey, Japan or Mexico) may give you similar rights. Write to us and we will help.
How. Write to support@tefs.com, tell us what you ask for and give the details we can search by (section 8). We answer within the time the law requires. You may also contact the providers in section 4 directly.
10. Transfers to other countries and security
The services in section 4 are run by companies in several countries, and the data they receive may be processed outside the country where you live, including in the United States and in other countries whose data protection law differs from yours. Each provider describes in its policy the safeguards it uses for such transfers (for example standard contractual clauses). The services send data over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Changes to this policy
When the Game’s services change (for example, a new advertising network or analytics service), we update this page and its effective date. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent again. The current version is always at the address where you are reading this.
